How much CBD should I take?

There isn’t a one-size-fits-all dosage and users should expect some trial and error. Several different factors can affect dosage such as the concentration of CBD, weight of the individual, the individual’s body chemistry, and the ailment being treated.

We can make suggestions on dosage based on 3 principles:

1.Body Weight
<150 lbs- 12-15mg per day
150-240 lbs- 18-23mg per day
>240 lbs- 23-30mg per day
    2. Start low and increase as needed.
    Starting with a lower amount will not only help find the appropriate dosage, it also may help you understand how CBD affects you and it will save you some money.
    3. Consult your physician.
    When in doubt, consult your physician, especially if you have an existing medical condition. While there aren’t a lot of doctors who have experience with CBD, most doctors should have a good idea on how your body will react and can provide you a professional dosage for your situation.
